Believe me when I say, ’that which you have unfortunately experienced’ happens often and everywhere. At 16 years of age I left my home in South Africa, to study ballet at the Royal Ballet School. Not only was I ridiculed for my accent, but also, ’that I was a ’white South African and obviously, must be a racists,’(the latter caused much pain and anguish.)
